FRIENDSHIP
When my life is over,
When I walk through Heaven's door,
The first thing that I want to do,
Is tell what I'm grateful for:
The gift of Springtime, Summer days,
Winters by the glowing hearth,
Brilliant hues of Autumn leaves,
My love for Mother Earth,
The cooing of a newborn child,
The chance to earn my way,
The challenges that kept me strong,
The time to learn and play.
My life has had it's ups and downs,
But when the count is through,
The one thing I'm most grateful for?
